Blue and White Ginger Jars


New in the shop: three vintage Chinese blue & white lidded ginger jars. Each features a beautiful floral rice motif with the Chinese symbol for happiness on both the front, back, and lid. They are being sold separately as each is unique with subtle variations in size and detail.

Originally used to store spices, Chinese ginger jars became popular as decorative elements when exported to the West during the 19th century. They look phenomenal just about anywhere:
