A Chinoiserie Lamp + The Spade's Style

This new vintage black ceramic chinoiserie table lamp is so unique. I love the two parrots and the colorful floral design against the black. And, it's a dual socket style so you can control the light by turning one or two bulbs on via the elegant brass pull strings.

A Roaring Fire

I fell for these vintage cast iron fireplace bookends and their reminder of the cold days ahead. Come winter, there's just nothing better than enjoying a roaring fire in a big brick fireplace. The warmth, the glow, the sound, the smell. Have you had your first fire of the season yet?

Opera Style

These beautiful vintage French mother of pearl opera glasses once belonged to a Parisian opera house. They're in great working condition and would be so chic and fun out on a coffee table. After all, who can resist picking up a set of binoculars to sneak a peek out the window or across the room?

I spotted a very similar pair in this image from the latest issue of Lonny (which goes live today!):

An Oval Frame

New in the shop, this original vintage floral still life painting has such a pleasing and unique oval frame. Adding an oval or round piece to a wall filled with mostly rectangular and square artwork is a terrific way to break up the pattern. It softens the hard lines and adds a touch of the unexpected.
